Hey! Yep! Okay, since it's Japan we're talking about, we'll talk about it!
I have a Japanese friend who told me here and there tidbits about her home country, so I'll give you bit of info, okay?
For starters, what are kimonos? It's a traditional wear of Japanese for special festivals or for special times, like weddings and such. It's been a tradition to wear them since middle of the 19th century.
There are over 55 kinds of Kimonos, but for now, we'll talk about 4 of them:
1) The Wedding Kimonos 2) The Yukata 3) The Furisode 4) The Geisha Kimono
Yep, I'll talk about them later, now it's time for you readers/ viewers to talk about it! I'll update this tread sooner-or-later!
Now, viewers if you have anything to add or you have any questions, talk about it or comment!

My friend Yuki as a Kimono......I can't remember how many, but she has about an estimate of 6-9...
Altogether it was about $20,000 to $25,000 American dollars together!!!!!!!
Her grandma's is a rich person and her parents are from a company......god dang.......
And her Grandma Ai spoils Yuki, her fav. granddaughter, that is so lame....My grandma doesn't spoil me like that......God, Yuki's so awesome......she has so much Kimonos it's kinda like WTF!!!!
Yuki says it depends on what kind of Kimono it is for how many hours it takes to set it up.
The longest one she had to set it up was about......4-5 hours.....It took her Mom and her Sister to finish putting it on!
I forgot what Kimono it was though...lol.

Yes, she offered me to let me wear one of her sister's but I said no.
LOL. I don't want to stand around for 4-5 straight hours wearing a Kimono.....no offense.
